I was one of those people who really had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to be when I grew up. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communications, I spent 10 years working in the communications field. I never felt like it was a passion though. Something was missing. And then it clicked … what started as a love of landscape film photography in college turned into an obsession with capturing emotion once my children were born. After almost every session … every wedding … I come home with a rush of excitement. So eager to dig into the files … it’s a feeling I compare to Christmas morning.
I live in Byron with my husband, Ryan and three kiddos … Riley, Paige and Ethan. We spend much of the summer at softball or baseball fields and much of the winter at various ice rinks around the area. We are the crazy family who brings 600 water balloons to the last baseball practice for our 7 year old, the house that has friends of all ages constantly in and out and the neighbor who stores their old Christmas tree under the deck for 7 months so that the neighbors can come over and watch it burn. (If you’ve never done the last one … you must. It’s amazing!!)
Things that give me warm fuzzies ….
